Right across your forhead, David... but get it backwards like they have on Ambulance hoods, so that you can read it when you look at yourself in a mirror... otherwise the moment is gone.

z00ey i dissagree, i think it is still unusual to have a tatoo or a piercing, not totally, but to the majority.
i got my eyebrow done last saturday and i like it most people will be like "ooh you did it to impress everyone else", but i didnt, its not like i got it FOR me (like most other people say) cos they never.
i got it cos i liked the fact of having something pierced, and i think it would suit me, and possibly make me seem better to people.
i mean, people with no tatoos or piercings...... boring

perhaps its part of a lifestyle, if you're a biker without tattoos you're definately a minority

i think the problem is when people get tats or piercings just to be cool or becouse of thier friends.... then there are people like me who get them to represent thier creativity, and then people assume that those with tats or piercings got them to impress people

yep.. ..and please don t get me wrong, i wasn t talking about you or someone else in person.. ..it was just a reply to this "lifestyle" example and situations when ppl do things to be accepted somehow
..and in reply to the "here it s still unusual..." ...like web said, a question of lifestyle and location.

yep Hayt. I have a couple friends who got tattoos because I did. Well they say because they wanted one, but I think they saw how people reacted to it and decided to go out and get one too. Mine is nothing special to others ut it does mean something to me. I drew the pictre myself. Atleast 90% of it. b/c I cant draw eyes on anything.lol. But yeah. Word of advice for the younger ones here. DO NOT get one unless you want it for the rest of your life. A tattoo with a baby on fire wont be cute when you are old and have children(bad example but ya get my point). Once I figure out how to take a picture of my arm Ill post one of mine on this thread.

Well you know what is funny, some people just like to kick what is expected of you in puberty stage right, so they get (yes sorry Trad that is your age group ) rebel like so to speak, in that life stage you are growing up and looking for an identity, or better said in puberty you can have some sort of identity crisis.. and sometimes pubers want to differ themselves from others, they want to be diffrent and not like the "house, tree, animal" label everyone has, so they paint their hair purple, or they get tattoos and horror like clothes, show they have specific taste in music (anything from normal offcource), or other life style then.. it's simply a stage in growing up.. not everyone has it but once you realize things are not about the way you look from outside, but whats inside, and that its better to fit in rather then kick it, youre stuck with piercings and tattoos if you were stupid enough to take them lol. (and offcource this doesnt apply to anyone in person, its generalizing puberty stage!) though, some people never grow up

I have some holes in my ears, but I dont wear earings anymore...too many allergic reactions. I do have my tongue pierced though, hurt a lot less getting it done than when I got my ears done. It did swell for a week, and ya kind of have to learn to eat again and learn to blow bubbles with bubble gum(took me a week to learn how to do that with the tongue piercing)..but it really didnt hurt too too much. Really.... :-/I have had it for many years now, and I dont even know it is there most of the time. I would never get anything else pierced though....Im too chicken stuff for that......
