Yea there is a need for a basic tutorial to get people started. To change the colors of the chat control you need to mess with the following values br]<PARAM NAME="ButtonBackColor" VALUE="12481836"> <PARAM NAME="ButtonTextColor" VALUE="16579836"> <PARAM NAME="BackHighlightColor" VALUE="15253915"> <PARAM NAME="TopBackHighlightColor" VALUE="12290082"> <PARAM NAME="ForeColor" VALUE="0"> <PARAM NAME="InputBorderColor" VALUE="12290082"> <PARAM NAME="BackColor" VALUE="12290082"> <PARAM NAME="ButtonFrameColor" VALUE="13619151"> They take long values "13619151." Now you need to find a convertor from rbg and hex to long values. I can make one but it might take a very long because I've other things going these days. As for changing page, mess with chat.css and ChatHTML.txt which all related to web designing.

When you say "long values" do you mean the VB colour codes? because obviously it's not hex.
If so there's a guy i host that makes a few little tools, i spotted a hex/rgb > VB colour converter on his site
netcode.net/~eax/ccg.php
hope that's what you mean, can't think what other colour values it would be, but half asleep right now

I feel there is no need for italics and additional color cordination. I installed them and then unistalled them. Nice job chuck but those skins are not needed, only adds more complications.

thanks Yahoo, Ill check out the color cop. I personally like the Idea of playing with the theme. It allows you to personalize Viper and have a different look. And it helps me to understand this computer stuff a little more. A plus is if the theme stuff doesnt work you just take it out and Viper reverts back to its default blue theme. Success
