Here are some changes I found in the new ocx br] 1) IP on join - The OCX tell you your IP on join. 2) Ctcp Replys have been disabled. 3) Userdata1 Has more then numbers in it. 4) Http decoded does not work anymore. 5) MSN Servers do not allow spaces in room names anymore. I'm not sure whats different internally so i guess we will have to wait and see, but some people have been having a few problems with viper and scripts after installing the update but only a few people.

Look like that have changed the number of whispers a Guest account can whisper at once.
Also the Version number has changed from 8.00.0211.1802 to 9.00.0305.1401
Didn't see the new Ip info tho, will look more tonight. Don't know what the version change means either or why.

Viper won't go in the room in bot mode now Does this mean another OCX patch?

hey Darktyme.. there's a blast from the past...
Well it might have to do with the new Version number, but I'm unsure if that's needed as it might use the patched OCX for that operation (don't use Viper) does it have a location for specifying the OCX version number in Viper? Maybe try change taht or look on JJ Viper message board for some more info

Rumbaar, The CLSID appears to be the same and the IP is also the same, just the version is differnet. They just made weird changes, they chnages were stupid which makes you think why would they updade unless they have something else planned. Axel

What i have noticed with that ctcpreply thing is that a really annoying problem in citychats and maybe other sections is the pornbots used //ctcpreply # time COME SEE ME SITE and stuff like that.. and the new ocx fixes that so maybe they doing something right?

Am i seeing things or did msn make some changes that will actually be of benefit to general chat users
halting ctcp replys - helps stop ip cracking no spaces in roomnames - stops room cloning unicode in ud1 keys - stops so many people getting room keys with pass crackers
did they take some drugs or something lol

Well from what I can see it only halts (well a timer) for people using the OCX, but using a script still allows you to get the TIME response the same as before. But we'll see how long script's are around for after this

I dont know about that... ctcp replys still work in our room... but now what is supposed to be the advantage(if one at all) about it showing yer ip onjoin.. i dont see any good to come of that.
