In a thread below about the test rooms being closed or re-located does this have anything to do with the eXtreme Team test room being closed twice today by daneel... I then made another testroom (extreme\bteam\btestroom), and then it was closed too once again by daneel, was this because MSN Doesn't allow test rooms anymore because they encourge the use of scripts/bots or was someone making false reports about it?

I doubt it's MSN making some sort of policy about testrooms.
Sounds to me like the "believe anything they are told" US sysops again, the rooms were back on the US lists
We don't get this problem when the rooms are on the UK or Dutch lists.

The room was closed by Daneel and IRobot not Service bot or a USA sysop, which means it was closed by the i-desk. Although the i-desk won't just close any room unless there is a really good reason for it, but when the test room did get closed I stopped by the i-desk and it was empty.

Its because of kids messing and flooding and calling names in i-desk, and because everyone has a brown hammer in the testroom they close it in total.
Some kids think its tough to take rooms or split rooms or to mess around, but they spoil it for the rest.
I dont know how long this will be going on but we could get banned too if this wont stop.

I'm sure someone is "friends" with someone from MSN / i-desk.. can no one talk to them? Maybe explain the situation, tell them the testroom isnt there for malicious purposes?

And im sure they get great satisfaction knowing we're annoyed by it I dont think they purely do it to annoy us, those kids dont know what to do with there insecurity feelings, and get some satisfaction in "owning" others and have the feeling they actually are something (take thief as example), but I have a spoiler.. this is virtual. Well I've known for a long time the testroom would be a problem, because everyone is host there.. as soon as one of them is messing around, MSN will come after them and take all the rooms they host/owner in, what can we do? we can kicklist them but they have tonns of other passports, what we can do is stop making the testroom all host but why have a testroom then? Or we can make it unlisted and invite and control the ones who get in, but I dont have the time to manage all that

That too yes, exo and me are more idling it.. but MSN is dealing with all the rooms where disruption is comming from at the moment is my guess, not sure if thats only our testroom because you kind of know the active trouble makers and the people that cause trouble on msn.. just think back about who all took the testroom a few times, they dont just do it in there, I could name a few known names like v0dka, Sytix, Thief, Game (James has coused trouble too one time) and they dont just visit our room so more has to be closed that we dont know of (and some other guy got killed that I didnt know) The problem is they can all take a hammer in the testroom, its not just 1 person.. msn gets complaints about user created rooms being harrassed by the same people that hang out in the testroom (and who knows where else) I had a testroom still open because my script keeps rejoining and recreating the rooms it has been in if I dont restart the script, we had the original testroom back and I was still in that temp room (extreme team testroom) , there were only 2 people in it (me and evil twice) So closing a room like that because there are disrupting people in it doesnt apply here.. msn is just closing it all period and it wouldnt be fair to skip a few so active owners would not make a diffrence at the moment. We could make a room with the topic Closed for Violation of MSN Code of Conduct - Sysop_Daneel (7/12/2003 5:27:11 PM GMT) And give it modes like +imnstuwl 1 and put host all in access, maybe they leave it alone then. But I bet msn cant appreciate that, it would take less effort for them to close though they only need to clear access then

Or we could rename it so "test room" isnt in the title
