i think in HTML u can use the values of param's without a "" characters

if not go into mirc do $asc(") and then in vb put + Chr(whatevermircgaveyou) + blah blah etc etc

2 Notes here.
1. When using strings try to use the & operator not the +, + should be used only for numbers
to stop flicker in a textbox when you add text to it do the following :-
Text1.SelStart = Len(Text1) Text1.SelText = "Blah"
Also a good way to speed up string operations
always use the $ operator with the functions eg
use mid$, left$, right$ - not just mid, left , right - its faster and using the non $ version actually uses more memory..

I need to update my textboxes a lot because im making a type of editor, the way i do it is just,
text1.sellength = 0 <----- so that you dont overwrite any hightlighted text and then... text1.seltext = "blah" and then it updates the textbox with "blah" at the point where the cursor was at, so it doesnt have to always be at the end or beginning of the box.. if you want it to overwrite the highlighted text though, dont bother messing with the .sellength..
