this i suppose will sound like im making it up but ive been doing the exact same thing for a while now on nightstorms server.. exactly the same lol... 'cept my screen shots are in the screen shots section in mirc :S

Yeah I got that too. Just go to google.com and type "Mswinsck.ocx" and download the file, then place it in the same folder as RICHTX32.OCX

It was a problem with the lack of Mswinsck.ocx - i found that and placed it in my system folder, so that error is gone. But... Now I'm getting an active x error - something about my security settings. Even when I set it to low (so it'll accept all active x requests) I get the same error

its trying to get msnchatx.ocx if you have it register it and try again

Ok, I did that... then I joined a room which was empty but at least I connected, forgetting you need the # before a room name right? If I try and join say, #xttr I see one OCX request in the status at the bottom then it stops responding What the hell am I doing wrong?!
