Why would I get this when trying to join a room, if my info isn't out of date? I've been trying to figure this out all day for my connection

Oh yeah, the other thing.. it doesn't matter how many times I register the MSNChatX.ocx, I *still* see "Network problems are preventing you connecting.." on opening a socket to auth..
What should I do? I'm sure it's related...

Well dunno if itll help much but generally No Permissions To Perform Command is when you havent send the correct credentials when you first connect, check all the info you send when u connect.

Doesn't matter now.. I just re-wrote a part of the auth in it to work properly. My whole connection was messed

Well first I was seeing that message when I tried to join a room, even though I'd just updated my info. Then I noticed I wasnt sending the auth strings to the server.. so I added a bit in to do that, which resulted in me being told a certain socket wasnt open (even though I was sure it was). After messing about with sockopen, sockaccept & socklisten for god know's how long, I gave up. Pulled the auth part from a connection I based on Cypher's tutorial along time ago (credit to Sie for helping with that). Oh.. and I'll be releasing it as soon as I'm done... I want it to work with minimal flaws
