ok time for me to set the facts straight... bots were the first public tools avaliable to MSN Chats service, back in 1998 kube released a guest joiner with the help of master, all it did was simply use IE to connect to a room by entering a nick and a room, it was october when that was released, now the first public script to msn chat was mega bot in 1999

I think you got your years a little wrong. Any IRC client at all could connect to MSN right up until April of 2000 when they pulled the plug on the old IRC (blaming constant splitting of the network servers, and a quick downslide in quality of rooms). And there were several hundred public scripts for MSN long before 99. The H*ckfactor series by parag0n and the xL series jump into my mind at this very second... both were developed specifically for MSN.

I wish I was around and knew about this sh*t when it all started... I started using MSN Chat in 2000, and it was 2001 before I even knew what a 'bot' was (IRC Dom - one of the owners in an old room I used to visit got me into it). From there I met some people who were scripting in CP (2001/early 2002), but it was another 6 months before I got hold of Vincula. I remember downloading my first script from TechGear and trying to work out how it connected (as I knew pretty much nothing at this point). Went through every single setting in the mIRC options... man, I just didnt have a clue!
Loon, do you have a public section on your site to download these old scripts / clients?
