Hello,
I would like to create a form that when on click of a button (similar to toolbar), it would display a new page (not a pop-up). There's something called MDI but I do not want to implement this as it creates inner pop-ups in the parent window.
It works something like a tab too. Just that it is not a tab. Instead, the tabs are buttons. I hope someone could understand me. If I sound ambiguous, I can e-mail a sample interface to you.
By the way, my friend did in Java before. The code looks like this:-
...
JPanel searchPanel = new JPanel();
BorderLayout searchLayout = new BorderLayout();
searchPanel.setLayout(searchLayout);
JPanel borrowPanel = new JPanel();
BorderLayout borrowLayout = new BorderLayout();
borrowPanel.setLayout(borrowLayout);
JPanel returnPanel = new JPanel();
BorderLayout returnLayout = new BorderLayout();
returnPanel.setLayout(returnLayout);
JPanel adminPanel = new JPanel();
BorderLayout adminLayout = new BorderLayout();
adminPanel.setLayout(adminLayout);
searchPanel.add(searchModule,BorderLayout.CENTER);
borrowPanel.add(borrowModule,BorderLayout.CENTER);
returnPanel.add(returnModule,BorderLayout.CENTER);
adminPanel.add(adminModule,BorderLayout.CENTER);
layout2.addLayoutComponent(searchPanel,"Search");
layout2.addLayoutComponent(borrowPanel,"Borrow");
layout2.addLayoutComponent(returnPanel,"Return");
layout2.addLayoutComponent(adminPanel,"Admin");
modulePanel.add(searchPanel,"Search");
modulePanel.add(borrowPanel,"Borrow");
modulePanel.add(returnPanel,"Return");
modulePanel.add(adminPanel,"Admin");
...
Any ideas in C#? Thanks.
