dealing with bluetooth by c#

hi guys..
i have a project in which i must use a bluetouth card , and write a program that will make the bluetouth search , give me the ID of who's arround , and make something deppending on the ID...
i dont have any idea how to start or can it be done ?!
and is there any specific card i must buy or all of them let me use thier source ?

there would have to be some kinda of development kit for working with the card most devices come with one but usually its for C++

Give more details why you want to detect the Bluetooth ID of device?
If you give more details than we can give other possible solutions.

If you are checking the Id for compatiablity reasons than it is not a good idea - list is endless and adjusting code for each device is not a good idea.
Develop in .Net cf framework it will takecare of the compatiblity issues for you for all the popular devices in the market.

If you want to search for the type of device yourself, go through the Bluetooth SDK.
BLUETOOTH_DEVICE_INFO structure has ulClassofDevice, thats the value you are looking for, it is the class of device.
