OK. Well for the members site I have a couple new announcements I would like to make. -First off I would like that thank those who have helped us along the way bring new things to this community. I hope we continue to have the success that has happened so far along with bigger and better strides. -With that said we have aquired an additional domain for use. xt10.net . Its working properly now so for the image uploader ect you can now have a little bit shorter links (since most boards limit size ect) -Speaking of shorter urls. We just made an addition to our line-up of services with a short url program. Its similar to the one seen on shorturl.com with lots of really nice features. If you are getting your hosting from a free service and wish to have a shorter domain name visit xt10.net/xturl/ . Here we have both xtmembers.com and xt10.net available for use. If we see some success with this site we will add a new domain every so often to comply with demand. One thing that differs us from most shorturl locations out there is we do not require use of ads or links to our site. If you want to promote us then that is fine but it is not required. Anyone that wants to have a short url can do so. You can also have as many of them as you choose(within reason ). Go check it out and let us know what you think. Thanks for reading.

Just out of curiosity who wrote the think for the redirector thingy, and how do you add sub domains on the fly like that? I made something once that made a directory, and an index page which uses a header to redirect, so like domain.com/username would contain index.php and a header location.?

-Works off of script called myred -Doesnt create subdomains on the fly. Just grabs the subhost, searches the DB record of it. If it finds one opens up frame and voila. If it does not find a record it goes to a pre specified page
of course the actual DNS server will override such requests before they reach this script.
