I know what he means, maybe the dll isnt compatable with Windows XP Professional , what trad posted would be just as good but it wouldnt use the dll to display this, it would just use mIRCs own identifiers. PS. you could also use //echo -a Windows $os It wont make a difference

yeah but $os returns
WinXP Win2K
so you cant use //echo -a Windows $os
you would have to use the way i did it unless you wanted it to return "Windows WinXP"

dunno bout you guys, but for me: //echo -a $os = XP no Win anywhere in there Thus //echo -a Windows $os would suffice just fine!

I used to have a similar problem, I was on windows XP home and the moo.dll returned that I was on Windows XP Pro...never really tried to fix it, lol

maybe its just an error with the dll....or maybe bill gates flowered up windows again:P so lets see XP Pro = 2000 XP Home = XP Pro any more? lol
