FISHER, you say somethings wrong with it, and i asked you if the only problem was that it says you have a different OS, is that so hard to understand???

i never said something was wrong with it....you never asked if that was the only problem....you made a statement saying that i said it was broke...all i did was post a problem and ask if anyone was wrong....
lazer asked did i have that OS on my comp and i told him i didnt....he didnt know what was wrong so i asked here hoping someone would....
i didnt try and start an arguement here, i just wanted a simple answer to a weird thing that has happened.
i have no idea what that is about or means T

ok thanx for explaining that...but it didnt give me that option on the dll....anyways, if anyone can figure out why its doing this weird thing let me know....i cant just use $os instead, but that will just say XP instead of Windows XP...then again, im just being fusy:P lol

Well,
according to that quote i assume from that comment you made, that you want a command to return "Windows XP",
So, without this turning into a big deal with me trying to help you will this help?
alias myos { if (XP isin $os) { return Windows XP } if (2k isin $os) { return Windows 2K } if (98 isin $os) { return Windows 98 } else { return Error } }
//echo -a $myos
right and dont start screaming if i didnt totally understand your post.
