anyone else who thinks he is one of the greatest writers/directors alive ?
..couldn t say what movie i like most (thinks of the incredible dennis "flowerin flower" hoppper with rosselini in blue velvet and same time of some weired gnomes in weird dreams.. etc etc etc..).. ..but probably his MARVELOUS first movie stays best for mebr]go and watch "EraserHead" !!!

Is that the one where there is no sound or speach for the movie or a high portion of the movie?

yes it is, eraserhead.. ..great sounds and pictures, most of it black and white.. ..i would say it s more a piece of art than a movie but that just would cut it down: it really is an amazing piece of work, inspiring and entertaining (away from action/stunts)..
..yes, saw them both, highway and mullholland drive.. ..and i like them both a lot (i saw them both several times and still enjoy it, same with most of what lynch made.. ..you see things and get ideas after the 12th time watching you haven t had before, lol)
*oh one more thing about "eraserhead" especially - he does in every movie he made but in his first he did it most: i really adore the way he shows the emotions of characters using pictures,scenes,sequences instead of dialogs or stupid monologues (hitchthingy quote: "we are talking about movies, not about radio-shows")

i remember when i was a kid and he had that tv series twin peaks....... only movie i've seen of his has been lost highway though

yeah it was good.... been awhile since i seen it probaly bout 5 years ago....... pretty trippy...... that scene with marilyn manson as a porno star was kinda funny atleast to me

uh oh.. i totally forgot to jump on the "twin peaks train" ,lol.. ..just four words: TV at its best
..and i still listen to the awsome soundtrack from time to time.

they were my fav group for along a** time....... but after they broke up it just wasn't the same and i can't get into zwan.... it's like when your parents divorce and you are trying to make your new stepfamily as your own.... just doesn't feel right lol
