The theory that human activity is causing the planet to warm significantly is just that, a theory, and one that, so far, hasn't been coming true. Also best available scientific models of our atmosphere are not yet sophisticated enough to accurately predict either future temperatures or human's impact upon climate. They say the earths temperature has only risen 1 degree fahrenheit in the past century which could be accountable by anything. So there is no real concrete scientific proof that "global warming" really exists.

trees do produce oxygen from carbon dioxide, we give plants and trees the air they breath and they give us the air, i believe as long as you replace the trees you chop down there will be enough oxygen for everyone , all we need to make sure is we dont run outta water or sources of fuels etc , tree huggers are kinda sad but there arent that many rainforests left so i guess they gotta point, when u cut down all the trees then theres no habitat for animals and its something like every single day at least one species of animal is put into extinction anyone remember the film water world... if the world flooded or we had another ice age and all the plants died... wouldnt that mean we alongside kevin kostner would be errr.... suffovated?

Nice of you to mention Ice age Alex. If Global warming was a truth, how do we know it is not the lasting result of the earth returning to it proper temperature from the last Ice age? Geologist say the earth was a vast tropical climate at the time of dinosaurs, how do we know that is not the temperature we are supposed to live in? The earth has been here over 4 billion years(estimated) and humans have only been keeping records of climate for around 100 years. That is a very minisule time period to base such a theory on.
Those that proclaim Global warming to exist proclaim it to be a result of polution and a hole in the ozone layer(another very debatable theory). When it could also be a result of returning to the proper temperature before as previously stated, or it could be a natural course of events due to the elliptical orbit of the earth around the sun, the moon around the earth, and the suns own orbit and that of the other planets causing greater distances the heat from the sun has to travel with the rate of dissipation and the gravitational forces shifting causing change in the rotational axis of the earth. All plausible theories that make more sense to me than pollution.

Sorry, doesnt sound more plausable to me lol. As time has progressed we have produced more and more pollution (cars, cfc's etc), and the layer has been getting bigger and bigger. We know for a fact sun comes in and gets trapped and causes the warming.

Tree huggers are annoying, I bet they go to work and have a desk.. funilly enough made of wood, or have wooden walls in their houses, or wooden fences, or like sitting in front of a fire. flowering whingers dog about trees being cut down when they use it themselves thats such an immature view of things od. to simplify something into a matter of whether they use wood or not.
i use wood - i have a wooden house and wooden furniture. i also consider myself a tree hugger.
does that make me a hypocrite. of course not.
i'm against the logging of old growth forests. i see no need for the amazon to be demolished. however, i dont have a problem with tree farms.
i take note of the wooden products i buy as i hope a majority of tree huggers do
just like you need scientists or lawyers or politicians you need environmentalists and activists.
they are out fighting issues which indirectly and quite often directly affect you.

Yes, it's my belief and I don't really care what you think, it's my belief, deal with it
Most people can't live without wood in some kind of way, trees are a resource, and it's simple to grow them again, so don't tell me what's wrong in my view please

And how are we proving this "fact"? It is simple. Does the rain go up, or down? Does the heat from our sun mainly stay here on earth, or does most of it escape into space? Does most of the wind escape into space, or does it stay mostly on earth? While some of our weather patterns do escape into space, most of it stays here on earth due to the Earths rotation, and also its revolvement around the sun. Which also means that most of the carbon gases, and such we produce here on Earth does the same, as well, and it produces a barrier which traps more, and more heat from the suns rays here on earth. Thus the more polution we make the more gets trapped. Trees helps to block alot of the polution man puts into the air, because they take in the carbon dioxides, and such. However with less trees means more polution stays in the air. I am not against cutitng trees to use for warming a house, and such, but whole forrests are being cut down in no time at all to give rise to big cities, and such. Someday this will have a major impact on all our lives. This means more control methods needs to be put into place. Ohterwise someday we may wake up to a planet simular to Mars.

i didnt say you were wrong. i said that it was an immature view of greenies or treehuggers to simplify something into such a basic view.
you dont have to like them or agree with them, but at least find some well thought out reason to dislike them
also, if you read what i said properly you would see i agree with you when you say trees can be grown again.
