My guess is the file is read only. So right click the response text file in My Computer, go down to properties and untick read-only then click OK.

Well sometimes Windows has a fault so try ticking read only, click OK... right click the file, go to properties again and untick it then click OK again. Some Windows versions have a fault where even though read only is unticked, the file is still read-only.

If this doesn't work, you could always copy the commands into a new text file in a different folder with the same name as the text file, for example, say the original file was C:\My Documents\Script\commands.txt, make a new text file, paste the commands into the new text file and save the file in a different folder... then copy and paste the new file into the folder with the original file and override the file... if you get me.. lol.

;D well thank you for your help i found out what he error is but i am not sure what it means... go figure hehe Open file in Notepad to check for extra spaces at ends of commands or extra returns at beginning or end of document. First line should not be anything other than a command line (no titles, etc.) it might as well be put in greeck lol

lol no worries. Generally though when text files can't be edited, it's because they're read only. I guess you could use this if something happens in a text file and you can't edit it . overdose

no worries, if MSN wasn't closing in a few days time, I probably would research what the problem is but I don't find much use .

Rina,, runtime error 62 is from having a space at the end of your responce text, move your cursor to the very end of the file and delete all the spaces, you should be fine after that
