I would have to agree that I think this isn't nearly the end of the updating, but it's a pretty good start. Why not any new mode settings or fun stuff, though, for room owners on webchat? Maybe next update. Right from the MSN Chat help br] What is an IP address? An IP address is a unique identifier assigned to each computer on a TCP/IP network. It consists of 4 sets of numbers separated by periods. For example:172.26.134.221
Your computer's IP address is included with each transmission or upload you make over the Internet.
Why does MSN obtain my IP address in Chat? As part of our ongoing effort to protect our customers from unwanted or improper contact, we may collect IP address information that can aid law enforcement officials investigating illegal activity.
I'm on a LAN, and MSN Webchat returns my internal IP address, instead of my external (modem's) address, so that doesn't seem entirely right to me If they were logging my IP, wouldn't they log my external IP?

I wonder if anyone's tried to decompile the ocx that just came out...*twiddles his fingers*. And yet, another way to crash it exists now..oh well...
There's not much that can be done. Unless they change the encryption, I may have to release my active x control (ocx) to actually connect for you guys =p

Well webchat users will definately benefit from some of these latest UpDates. Ip grabbers don't work anymore? Well I have to say Im pleased about that. I wasn't very happy about the kiddies running around grabbing people's IP's on MSN. Wonder what else MSN has in store for us......

the kiddies and rest of the lot in here couldn't do a thing with IP's ... but still msn is really trying to go beyond that 250 symbols, 300 seems to be the ultimate goal ;D
