If you're running a windows system always check for updates, i know this is rather primitive compared to Rift's posts, but if you don't it could be your downfall, and im sure a lot of you dont check for updates regularly lol

Ebil > In My Computer, go to Tools > Folder Options, click the View tab and make sure 'Show hidden files and folders' is selected. Then go go C: (or whatever drive you use) and go to the WUTemp folder and burn them all to cd (they are the Windows Update files you download). And speaking of windows update... a new trojan is spreading. Click www.microsoft.com/security/incident/sasser.asp to get the update

there's nothing primitive about that:P it's a good thing to know about the ability to check for updates, especially for windows users, it sucks when something happens to your computer and you dont know what happened, or you find out that you could have prevented it by a simple update:( you can also set up autoupdate programs from microsoft, this site goes into detail a bit better on how to do that: www.uic.edu/pharmacy/it/Tips/winupdat1.htm
