Nevermind... Shell("C:\program files\winzip\WINzip32 -a c:\Test.zip c:\test.txt", 6) does it nice and hidden

i dunno but did u try this
Dim Filename as string filename = inputbox(bla,bla,bla) Shell("C:\program files\winzip\WINzip32 -a c:\" & filename & ".zip c:\test.txt", 6)

but i would like to know if anyone knows how to rename a file... rename a file? like any file notthing to do with winzip look at the MicrosoftScriptingRuntime "sccrun.dll" at a reference to this file and then try the following Dim FSO As FileSystemObject FSO.MoveFile "C:\OldFileName.txt", "C:\NewFileName.txt" Simple eh
