I said it only updates the Subscriber value in that time, not both ticket and profile.
With the renderchat page there no cookies disabled check. (I never found anyway)
For my ticket and profile i use a html type updater. (3secs)
For a massupdater, i use a socket to the messenger server, and com objects for handling the nexus login. (50 tickets and profiles in about 40 seconds).
Time could be decreased by using SSL sockets rather than com ojects, but its probably not worth the trouble.
And no armstrong there will be no need for editing. It finds the "Subscriber=" and returns the data for the value, any additional data removed/added my msn would not affect it. If they changed the renderpage name or parameter handling it obviously would.
Subscriber expires after 3weeks or so, if thats what you meant... im not sure.
Webagent you've tried what exactly? a socket to the renderchat page, then?

The render page isnt much of use if your not signed in. I mean how can I get my subscriberinfo without giving my account info somewhere and this account info has to go to passport.com, and on passport.com is a browser test If you get your subscriberinfo in less then a second you are already signed in then or something? (and stay signed in for 3 weeks so you can update it in less then a second lol ) I tried lots of diffrent ways (I use Vipers Component atm, but I know how Tewl does it wich is probably same way as you do it) but I was never able to do it without some kind of browser window (shdocvw.dll) because of the cookies and the secure socket layer connection, but the messenger way is without so its not impossible. MSN changed so many links so many time I cant even count it anymore, its most like that with the smallest change you have to adjust your grabber again.. not that its such a problem if you have the time to keep up.

To update the subscriber info you need to have an up to date ticket and profile first, yes.
You can then open the socket and send the parameters with these values, the sub value is then retruned.
I don't call this "signed in" but you may. I supposed in a way it is.
