Is there anyway to get back something you have deleted in Vb using the kill command?

is there a kill command in vb have you tried executing it in the immediate window j/k there's no going back. There is no Undo statement, and files deleted in this way are NOT moved to the Windows Recycle bin.

If its a really important file the best thing to do is not use your pc (dont shut it down/reboot), use another pc to get a program to recover files, they work because the file isnt actually deleted, the section of the HD is just marked as being ok to overwrite.

there are ways of restoring files that have been purged as long as it hasnt been more than 30 days No, as long as it hasn't been written over by other data, and only on FAT systems (NTFS = SOL). This could be 5 minutes or 5 years. Norton UnErase can get it back...
