im no maths genius but keep posted and ill give u some riddles for logical thinking as im good at these ;D "a guy walks down a road and comes to a fork in the road, the road splits too ways and he cannot see anything different in the paths they lead, there is a parrot in the road who tells him that one road will lead him to great fortune, the other will lead him to death, he must take one and he cannot return if he chooses the wrong path, he says... to help you i shall give you a clue... i say the correct path is the left one but i may be lying, to help you decide which one is the correct path you may ask me one question only and i shall answer you, from this you must tell which path i must take, the man asks his question and the parrot answers NO." what question does he ask the parrot to gaurentee that the parrot is or is not lying and from the answer given which path must he take, the left or the right? ok people start working out and show reasoning so u aint just guessing

Right, I think the man would say.. ..because I'm thinking it's either a) something about reverse psychology on the parrots behalf or b) something related to the anser in this Mario book The man has to ask the parrot about the right path because the parrot has stated he may be lying about his answer to the left path. So if this is the case, he's probably only gonna lie about the left path, meaning the man should ultimately choose the left path. If he'd asked that question about the left path and the parrot had said no, the man would have remembered the fact he might be lying. Hope ya see what I mean.. Am I right?

wrong answer and anyway he could be lying about the path ether way, the guy cant turn back so he needs to know EXACTLY which paths the right one and anyway u didnt say which paths hes ment to take did u? on your answer the parrot could say yes the right one is the right one, and could be lying or telling the truth, the answer is much simpler, good try though have another

So if this is the case, he's probably only gonna lie about the left path, meaning the man should ultimately choose the left path. Thats where I said which path I'll have a think..

It probably has something to do with the word 'right' meaning ...
right = a direction
right = you did something right.
hmmmmmmmmmmm a trick question probably

not a trick question at all, but what question could he gaurentee an answer he could know would be one or the other nita, think about that then the path will come into focus

Is the right path left. take the left path! if the parrot answers yes to the question he is lying,as the right path can`t be left as left is not right,so as the parrot answered no he must be telling the truth,so the man takes the left path!

i heard this before....i know it but i cant remember ammmm
if i go on the right path (meaning the one he wont die on, not the actuall direction) will i die...so the parrot gets confused and answers no, not knowing the intentions of the man, so the man knows to take the left path ;D lol
