Anyone got any ideas how to connect to MSN's group chat via a proxy server (my own one, so I can set up port tunnling if neccisary).
MSN help people say I cant do it. Anyone want to prove them wrong.

You get the IP Adress manuell in System Control,Modem options. Activate H.323-Gateway. Get in Compuper Name an IP Adress. Proxy Settings br]Apply H.323-Proxy. Proxy is a Guarantee(Safety) between Intranet and Internet When you get IP Adress for Your PC, ask Your Internet Offerer(Phone Offerer) Ty

I didnt think I would have to change the modem settings on the PC I use to dial up, as it connects to group chat without any problems. It was what I had to do proxy wise on that PC and I had to run anything diffrent on the other PC on my network to connect up.

You can't do it because the ocx opens its own connection to the server on port 6667.

Twel, would this work?
I set up my hosts file so that the chat server's address points to my proxy server. Then I set up the proxy server to tunnel port 6667 to the msn chat server.
