lol Alex, those answers were all macro's.. dont stare blind on the detailes like "why did he say registered room?" because this answer is a pre-typed one and is used in many occasions.
Like Draconis sais, i-desk if for anything outside of US, so you need to ask there, and best thing is to try straight after the ban (but thats a bit hard if you have a server ban right)
Might have been that your ip matched someone else beeing banned, or msn used a logg of the testroom to make sure all inside at that moment had a ban.. thats probably the answer you get if you ask someone that knows of the situation, no need to go there and ask lol.

lol webby ive contacted msn staff in msn messenger a few times as well, just ones im friends with and the reason their banning our idents is cause people are h* their rooms and because their a member of our forums or services or use bots that XT staff or memebers make their claiming their with us and basically making us blacklisted :S PS : draconis first of all, the rooms may be on international soil but they still come under the code of conduct and i did make a point of saying that the people were being banned for no reason that violates the code of conduct shared by all countries, also the main extreme team room wasnt closed at the time i was there, you wernt there i dont remember so i wouldnt have expected you to know otherwise, and also i know for a fact the same members of staff have closed UK rooms that govern US rooms, to the banning of hammers, the main XT room was not closed when i was there, on your third point there is some security and that is trust, myself and JJ have been developing for over 5 years in msn in fact in sept 14th it will be our 6th anniversary of making msn software as we started out of a freak accident on the same day, lol, now in these years in the beguinning people didnt trust our software but they have grown to trust the fact that when we say theres no bad stuff in then there isnt, msn argues that ALL software that isnt theres is full of security breaches and spyware which a guide said to me in a previous conversation before, which is untrue, i would trust JJ's software fully that theres no backdoors and trusting people you know from others who also trust him means that you do have some reliability, and as for what their planning next, it wont stop my aim to carry on making productive (virus/worm/trojan/backdoor/spyware free) software that will enhance users experience Nothing against you draconis in case it sounds a little harsh just wanted to get it straight what i ment by doing it , hehe

If you say so, Alex... I mean, just because I wasn't sitting in a room with the nickname "Draconis"... what would I know about that chain of events, right? So umm, Alex... did you happen to contact the staff that did the close and bans, or did you just assume that US know what International is doing at all times?

The xt chat room has been visited by hundreds of sysops and guides before. I think that they are suspicious of the room, although none have entered lately...

"extreme team test room is in the NL-NL market... that means that US Helpdesk and it's staff can't touch the room... " Draconis, they do what they want, and everyone knows it. If they have something personal, sod the rules, they do what they want. And secondly, i see no reason why they are banning people, i was on webchat when i was banned, but i was owner. Who else was banned, what status were you? Oh And fire, dont start rosygarden in the helpdesk, we have enough of that, as web said, its pointless

Since you guys are adamant that it was Helpdesk, and that helpdesk has all the answers... why not answer this one question. Who closed the room... Daneel, or a HelpDesk Sysop?
I don't get it... you want the anwers, but complain and tell people they're wrong when you get them.

Hey DMQ... just like you to jump in on a thread you know nothing about, but hey... don't let me stop you. They are not targetting test rooms, unless those rooms or the people in them are doing something to draw attention... flooding rooms, taking rooms over, topics against the COC... that kind of thing. Do a search on MSN chat for test rooms in the CP section. You think that MSN doesn't know they're there or something? Next time, try reading back. Oh yeah, and wb.
