OK for the people who are too lazy to read do this br] Start > Programs > Bot-E-Gaurd > Activate Bot-E-Gaurd .Net Fill in the required information and click generate. Then back to the main screen Serial Number and Password are the same thing. A catch though, is that the name you entered on the activation screen must be the same as the one you enter on the initial start up of Bot-E-Gaurd. Continue on from there and your set. Any information that is misleading or not understandable please let me know and I will revise this.

lol spelling alert ;D ya just goto... Start > Programs > Bot-E-Gaurd > Activate Bot-E-Guard .Net enter the info exactly how it was on activation screen, make sure your retype password is the same as password else it rejects it like all good programs and copy paste serial and there ya go PS : For the dummies guide check out the help file in the documentation folder in the start menu or on the website

So the .NET doesn't mean it's written in VB.NET or C++.NET ? .Net framework is the library of classes that is developed by Microsoft for windows (.Net framework for non-MS operating systems are developed by 3rd parties). It's the most comprehensive library for programming ever made. A .Net application can be build with any language that supports .Net framework. It can be any programming/scripting language, for example, php has also developed support for .Net for web development. But with MS development environments the official support at the moment is for VB.Net, C#.Net, J#.Net, C++.Net (normally for desktop and server development) and ASP.Net for web development. In short, .Net application means that under the hood the application uses .Net framework. It doesn't matter which language is used to compile the .Net program, after compilation all are same, because all the code is converted to ILASM during compilation. Although during development time a developer can use the language of his/her choice due to syntax preferences.

Thx for the clarification JJ, I'm just getting into Visual Studio .NET so the fundimental aren't known to me yet. But it does offer some 'cross' platform potential.
